Availability of US H-1B visas from April 2013

That’s the reason why the US immigration department—USCIS(US Citizenship and Immigration Services) begins accepting US H-1B visa applications around six months ahead of the fiscal year starting on 1st October every year.

Eligibility for US H-1B visas—Now, we need to know what is the eligibility criteria or requirements for applying to US H-1B visas. Following is the eligibility requirement—

• Those having a bachelor’s or an equivalent degree are eligible to apply for US H-1B visa;

• And anyone having a mixture of training, experience and/or any non-degree qualification is also eligible to apply for US H-1B visa.

Conditions for US employers—Any US employer wanting to hire any foreigner to work in the US on a US H-1B visa need to give intimation to its workers of his intention to employ a foreign worker on a US H-1B visa.

When can one start work in the US after coming on US H-1B visas—Well, anyone coming to the US on US H-1B visa can look forward to beginning his or her employment/work from October this year if the application is made in April 2013 and the US H-1B visa is granted.
